- Outline
The nassen tenugui hand towel features hama dyeing patterns achieved using Yokohama-style nassen dyeing and printing techniques to create beautiful colors with an exquisite feel. With the hand towel as its base, the tenugui can be transformed into something even more entertaining - the tenugui-bon or "hand towel book". Readers will be pleased to know that these books come in a number of different series, most notably Things Japanese for those interested in traditional Japan. In addition, Keisu Hamamonyou has also created the Japanese Dogs, Tea and Goldfish series, and more. The tenugui is folded in the form of a book and tied in two places; undo the ties and the hand towel itself is a work of art worthy of framing.
