Outline: This is a digital appreciation system that allows visitors to enjoy cultural properties through visual and tactile senses. The controller and 8K monitor show the details and the bottom of the work, which were difficult to appreciate in conventional exhibitions. The user can rotate and enlarge cultural properties freely, and discover an appeal of the works.

Evaluation

Using an interface in the form of a replica with the same weight, shape, and texture as a priceless work of art that cannot actually be touched, this system enables the user to “feel” the item via an 8K monitor. What also makes it likable is the fact that it uses a simple UX, rather than being a slave to technology. Not only does it allow absolutely anyone to savor the sensation of viewing and touching the genuine article, but it also enables them to enjoy a digitally augmented experience. We praised it for the UX value, which makes maximum use of the immersive power of 8K, and its potential for application to a variety of fields in the future.
