概要

It is anchovy package design which is sold in showroom of 'Geojedo Oepo Anchovy' of Geoje Island in Korea. It symbolizes brand value by blending old tradition and young sense. And it shows the concern about social duty and value for the present and future environmental preservation as local company by using environment-friendly material.

デザインのポイント
1.We used recycled paper for environmental protection and did not use glue.
2.The deployment format minimizes delivery volume and enables delivery in larger quantities.
3.In order to inform Geojedo which is the origin of anchovy, we used sea and coastline in graphic.

背景

'Geojedo Oepo Anchovy' is the historic local company. For three generations, they have been providing good quality anchovies all over the country. Nowadays, The Republic of Korea is culturally becoming more and more centralized. So we wanted to create a platform that can introduce other region and disperse cultural consumption through the high quality products with sense of youth. The existing package design was recognized as a gift for only old age people. We designed new anchovy package. It is designed to change visitors' perception that anchovy can be pleasurable gift for everyone, regardless of their age. We recognized marine pollution and waste of resources. So we designed environmental-friendly packaging. It can raise the image of 'Geojedo Oepo Anchovy' as a responsible company.

経緯とその成果

Firstly, we trying to express characteristics of the 'Geoje-Do' in our Anchovy-as a specialties- in our package design. We used a simplified image of coastline and Namhae-Sea on outer bag. It have symbolism as a origin of products. Secondly, we wanted our design can accept for different age groups. So we used a simple and lyrical images. And we minimized color expression for to show the natural texture of recycle paper. Lastly, we only used a recycle paper on every side of our package. It can make a process of environment protection in consumption culture. Not only company side, but the people who take our package can join this process when they dispose by-product. And the easy-assemble package box can be stacked up as a form of planer figure. It lead to reduction of transport resources.

地域の特産物の販売を促すためのパッケージデザイン、地域色を強調するストーリーや素材の選択が印象的であり、環境保護を目指した再生紙の選択も素晴らしい。購入量に応じて、パッケージのサイズを調整できるバンド型の固定部分の機能も良いアイデアである。デザインを活かした地域活性化の良い事例として大きな発展を期待する。
