“Well-being”, one of the evaluation methods on work place, has been appreciated, which means the pleasant and wholesome office. This project, by applying the Light Duct System, enabled the office room to receive a daylight from four directions while improving the intellectual productivity. This system provides a natural light not only to the office room, but also “Tsuboniwa”, and the every elevator lobby. Brightness and patterns of the daylight remind us of the solar power in a simple way. It is like “The North Wind and the Sun”, office users effortless energy reduction will be expected.
