The Lumia 720 stands out as a hardware from a host of other smart phone handsets mainly on account of its feeling of ‘robustness’. The almost flawless ‘unibody’ plastic case is well proportioned and well profiled. This one-piece wrap-around case with no joints (except punctuated for buttons and other micro-connections) feels solid and crafted in the hand, and the vibrant colours feel in-grained rather than applied. It is a rare instance where plastic actually imparts a feeling of ‘class’ rather than ‘cheapness’.
