This product incorporates new technologies and design into the ways of using a remote control, to resolve the dissatisfaction with remote controls themselves experienced by many users who have been unable to find a remote control or are bothered by the large number of remote controls they have. As a result, it has been developed as a new user interface that enables basic television operation (power on/off, tuning, volume control) using hand gestures alone. Among other achievements, this design has achieved ease of use, for example by letting the user conduct continual operations such as tuning and volume control from a natural position by extending his or her hand, and feedback so that the user can operate the device comfortably without getting confused. Prototypes have been developed with the goal of expandability for operating devices such as air-conditioners and lighting as well.
