EARTH CERAMICS, floor tiles
Earth Ceramics are hydrothermically solidified clay tiles that derive from the traditional TATAKI* Japanese flooring. Thanks to their low-temperature treatment, straw or other organic additives may be incorporated to give the tiles greater wear resistance or an enhanced aesthetic effect. In home applications, Earth Ceramics create an extremely comfortable living environment.
TATAKI* : In Japan, the “TATAKI” work, one of the solidification technologies of soil at room temperature, has been used since long. The TATAKI can be described as an extremely small resource and energy required manufacturing technology where there is no use of specific resource and consumption of considerable energy.
