Application period for the Good Design Award 2009 is April 28th to June10th. Please complete all the necessary registration and confirmation during the application period.
Result of the Good Design Awards 2009 Second Screening will be notified through the website, on applicant's exclusive Entry Site on September 11th.
*Official announcement of the results will be made on October 1 through Good Design Awards website. Please refrain from publicizing the results until then.
"Passed 2nd screening"Applicants who passed the 2nd screening are required to review/modify information of entries during the preparation period (September 11h to 17th). Information will be released on website, media and printed material such as Award Certificate and Yearbook.
Registered information can not be changed after September 17th. Please complete the modification during the period.
Confirm Releasing Information
Please review information of your entry, which will be introduced on Good Design Awards website, media, Awards Certificate and Yearbook. If necessary, please modify registered information by September 17th.

1. Judges' Evaluation
Evaluation by judges on each award-winning entries will be posted on the Entry Site around late September.
2. Award Results Announcement
Official announcement of the final results (except for the Grand Award) will be made on October 1st 11:00 Japan time, at a press conference and through Good Design Awards website.
3. Yearbook Publication Fee
Yearbook publication fee will be invoiced on October 1st.
Payment deadline is November 30th. If the payment delays, please contact info-e@g-mark.org and let us know the estimate date of remittance.
4. Good Design Awards PR Campaign
Good Design Awards PR campaign period is conducted from October 1st till 31st. During one month campaign period, award recipients of 2009 can use G Mark logo for free. Awardees may use G Mark logo for promotional use on the website and any other relevant marketing materials.
Usage of the G Mark logo after the campaign period requires an application. Details are provided under "G Mark Usage Guide".
5. Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony, at which time the Good Design Grand Prize is announced, is held on November 6. Awards Certificates are handed over at the ceremony. For oversea applicants, the certificates are sent by post.
The ceremony is attended by awardees, judges, journalists, and Japan's Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.
6. Yearbook Published
"Good Design Awards Yearbook 2009-2010" is scheduled to be published in late January, 2010. The yearbook introduces all the awarded entries and the feature articles.
