2009 Good Design Awards: Fees

The fees and payment deadlines associated with the Good Design Awards are set forth below. All amounts include taxes.
- Payment for each invoice must be confirmed by the each deadline.
- Bank transfer fee is responsible of the payer.
- If payment by an applicant is delayed, the entries concerned may be excluded from judging.

First Screening fee (due to all entries)

Price: 10,000 Yen for each entry
Payment deadline: June 30, 2009

Second Screening fee and Exhibition fees
(due for all entries that passed the first screening)

* It is mandatory to pay both 2nd screening fee and exhibition fee (space & display fee) as 2nd screening is based on actual entries at the screening venue.

1. Second Screening Fee

Price: 50,000 Yen per each entry
Payment deadline: August 14, 2009

* Special screening fee for the protection of intellectual property

  • Undisclosed entries: 50,000 Yen + 100,000 Yen per each undisclosed entry
  • On-site screening (within Japan) : 50,000 Yen + 100,000 Yen per each entry
  • On-site screening (outside Japan) : 50,000 Yen + 300,000 Yen for each entry
- In addition to the above fees, applicants shall bear the expenses for traveling, transportation and actual out-of-pocket expenses of Judging Committee members and attending secretariat.
- Special screening is for unreleased / unpublished (TBA) entry.

2. Exhibition Fees

Space Fee:

Price: Depends on application content
Payment deadline: August 14, 2009

Display Fee:

Price: Depends on items you require (Tables, power sources, etc.)
Payment deadline: August 14, 2009

Yearbook Publication Fee (all awarded entries)

Price: 15,000 Yen for awarded item
Payment Due: November 30, 2009
