Optimus Maximus is an ultra-configurable keyboard that features tiny screens on its keys. Each of the 113 buttons is a stand-alone display that shows the function currently assigned to it. Optimus allows use of any language as well as of any other character set: notes, numerals, special symbols, HTML codes, math functions and so on. Custom keyboard layouts can be created using the software. It enables users to program each button to reproduce a sequence of symbols and edit images separately for each layout.
