Outline: In Kohkoku magazine vol.415, 'Distribution' were featured. We developed original 'Cardboard Box Binding' as expression of distribution and indicated a bookstore, a distributor, shipping company etc., on the cover of the magazine to visualize the whole 250 types of distribution routes. We intended to make people begin facing the relationship between products and distribution.

Evaluation

It is an ambitious project to identify various problems hidden in society from the physical form given to the format of "magazine" and the commercial environment surrounding it, and to define such problems. Its cynical and serious content is sometimes directed to the advertising industry to which the publisher belongs, but with its crafted bookbinding in 250 patterns, the magazine has succeeded in drawing the attention of many people and give them new awareness linked to the theme in a smart manner.
