Outline

A central AC system for condos using a dual overlay underfloor system. People can easily keep their entire homes at a uniform temperature year-round. It's comfortable and mitigates heat stroke/heat shock. High-performance filters keep out dust and pollen. And because the system is air-tight and insulative, you can leave the AC on 24 hours a day and still be comfortable, healthy, and energy-saving.

Evaluation

This is new floor air conditioning system aims to conserve energy and reduce CO2 emissions in condominiums. While this type of product tends to have high initial costs, because of the need for special equipment, YUKAIfull is able to provide air conditioning for the whole dwelling via the floor with just one built-in air conditioner (generic product) and a total heat exchanger. One imagines that developing a simple air conditioning system and the technology required to combine temperature control with the standardization of comfort required considerable time and energy. As this system tapping into the advantages of condominiums—namely their highly airtight, highly insulated nature and their double-layer floors—solves the problems of both cost and maintenance, we believe that it presents a roadmap that will enable such systems to become the norm. It has already been fitted in more than 1,000 condominium units and we have conferred it with this award in the hope that this number will increase further.
