"Nanopict", the flexible root canal camera with an ultra-fine fiber of dia. 0.44 mm allows you to see the inside of the narrow and complex root canal that was not visible until now. By enabling visual evaluation of apex area, root canal curvature, or condition after pulpectomy, it helps improve the accuracy of root canal treatment which otherwise relied solely on the tactile sense of the clinician.

Evaluation

The root canal treatment is a rather time-consuming procedure that involves cleaning, disinfecting and filling the pulp chamber. It could cause pain when the dentist checks the depth of the root canal that is not visible. We found this innovative technology that reduces the stress on the patient and dentist quite admirable. The clear image shown using the ultra-fine flexible fiber of Φ0.44 mm is very impressive. The pen-shaped body makes it easy to hold and the lever that maneuvers the flexible fiber is easily manipulated, indicating how carefully this device has been designed.
