Outline: Little Can is an electronic piggy bank aims to help children learn about money in today's increasingly cashless society. Saving spare money is a centuries-old tradition and Little Can now revives a physical representation of an otherwise intangible concept. Through intuitive interactions that fit into the children's daily routine, they subconsciously learn about the values of personal finances.

Evaluation

I love this idea very much! The era of digital money is affecting our daily life more and more in China. The young kids are watching their parents to buy goods through Alipay or WeChat pay on mobile phone.. so they do understand the concept of digital money. This electronic piggy bank provides an interesting interaction on receiving award or digital money. By interacting with this fun little electronic creature, kid can be motivated to save money and gain credits from adults. Not really sure how well that kids would stick with the product for long time, but I do think the design concept well fitting and reflecting the modern society.
