PLAY To CHANGE is an experimental community project jointly created by Oi! and a team of local architects, with the aim to heighten the awareness of the public to our living environment, city development and pressing social issues in an interactive and playful way, under the spirit of PLAY. PLAY is envisioned as Place-making, Partnership, Learn, Listen, Art, Architecture, Action, Appreciate, You, etc. The project challenges us to re-think about social values and how to build a better community under the theme PLAY to Treasure, Live, Learn, Nurture, Understand, Connect, Engage and Perform.

Evaluation

A brilliant campaign that explore a great array of representations and happenings to foster the understanding of the community spirit and "genius loci" of a place to the general public A sensitive and lively approach to the otherwise difficult subject to be conveyed to the laymen, an unique community "play-lab"!One most rewarding feature of the project is the unexpectedly long duration of the campaign that spans more than 10 months, a rarity for the fast-paced momentum of Hong Kong while demonstrating the high level of dedication and devotion from the team
