New cross-generational homes for permanent living in Shin-Toyosu—the target of public/private development. These homes use Japan's first composite seismic isolation system for earthquake protection. Open units with comfortable facades and an open landscape design that connects to nearby land help create beautiful town scenery. There are shared common facilities and a Kids Garden that also acts as a disaster prevention facility. The goal is a town full of events for residents that allow people of all ages to share the value of a new town, even as lifestyles change and reurbanization continues.
