Amid the changes in family structures and lifestyles, it is desirable to provide arrangements that match up with the changes to home layouts. Conversely, a comparison of the layouts of condominiums over the past thirty years shows little change. We therefore developed HAKONOMA to play an intermediate role between furniture and architecture. The independent box-like shapes respond to diversified lifestyles and changes in life stages in accordance with required scenarios, and can be used as room partitions and for creating secluded areas. They are also suitable for offices and hospitals, etc.
