Platform screen doors are safety facilities installed on the track side of train station platforms that align with train car door locations. The platform screen doors operate when trains come to a complete stop. The doors prevent accidents: people falling off a platform, coming into contact with trains, etc. Platform screen doors are designed in consideration of the station platform and train appearance. They use large aluminum frame doors inset with glass panels so that those in wheelchairs, children and others with a low line of vision can check for incoming trains.
