In a hospital, medical practices are conducted to maintain the lives of patients by using equipment including an artificial ventilator. A medical gas pipeline system is a series of facilities which safely supply gases essential for these practices. The kinds of medical gas include oxygen, air, nitrous oxide and suction gas, and each facility is identified by a specific color. Gas sent from the source is delivered to an operating room or a patient's room through ducts running throughout the building. Medical gas is constantly monitored by monitoring equipment, and has been designed with multiple safeguards never to stop the supply even if a disaster occurs. “uniline” is the medical gas pipeline system of a new era, which has dramatically improved its safety and usability.
