概要

This water softener can be connected to the faucet, so you can enjoy your shower with good water. The water softener is composed of tank with millet grains, ion exchange resin and a recycling tank with salt ingredient. The tap water goes through the ion exchange resin tank to remove calcium and magnesium ion and become a soft water. The resin will be regularly cleaned during the usage and this is called recycle. During this period, water will enter the recycling tank and melt regenerant and clean the resin. The product itself recognizes recycling period and it will be done automatically.

Design for people and environment This expresses soft and smooth feeling with the natural soft surface and curve of the body.  Usability The surface of the product is treated with high-gloss for easy removal of the water stain.  Eco-friendly design The attached ion exchange rate can be used semi-permanently and this uses salt as recycling material.

デザイナーのコメント

As a world-wide product, this product presents differentiated size with the existing competitive products and minimized the installation constraint and considered the safety as a priority and friendly and soft image by considering the characteristics of the product. In addition, we have tried to establish the brand image by emphasizing the characteristic icon by showing the company s identity.

使用者、社会等への取り組み

どのような使用者・利用者を想定したか

We think of everyone in this world who needs this, especially as this product is related to water, which touches skin, this product fulfills the need of the user emotionally; it provides experience of feeling the difference of the skin. In addition, as this does not require electrical power and it is in wall hanging type and stand type, it can be installed in any bathroom around the world.

その使用者・利用者にどのような価値を実現したか

This product considered possible installation in a small space within the bathroom, so we have minimized the size of the product up to 40% to lower the installation constraint. In addition, as it is using water, it did not use electricity and manually operate to provide psychological and functional reliability. we have created a smaller size and it blend well to the atmosphere.

社会・文化および地球環境の視点から解決すべき問題点

The overall exterior of the product applied ABS and strengthen the durability and the internal component used PP material and rubber on the front control panel to minimize any sliding.

白地のすっきりとしたフォルムに赤いラインがアクセントとなっているウォーターソフトナーである。良い水で快適なシャワーをというコンセプトのもと、操作性の良い大きな回転スイッチ以外は、全てストイックに抑えられており、明快な操作性を実現させている。
