Outline

This project involves a series of research on decreasing damage from wide animal pests (such as wild boars and deer) through analysis of their ecological characteristics and development of repellents to protect produce and trees from pests and attractants for capturing them. In recent years, due to the effects of global warming wild-pest damage to agriculture and forestry has increased. As a result, the number of people abandoning agriculture is increasing from year to year and the desolation of abandoned fields is spreading. To solve these problems, this project conducts research and development to prevent wild pests from entering producing farms and forests by designing scents that operate on the principles of pest ecology and the instincts imprinted in their DNA.
